BLACKFOREST CAKE

Moist Almond Sponge Cake: The foundation of our cake is a light and moist almond sponge cake. We use almond flour or ground almonds to infuse the cake with a delicate nutty flavor and a tender texture. A hint of vanilla complements the almond beautifully. The cake layers are often brushed with a light sugar syrup infused with almond extract or a touch of white rum to maintain moisture and enhance the flavor.
White Chocolate & Whipped Cream Filling: A generous layer of lightly sweetened whipped cream mixed with delicate white chocolate shavings fills the cake. This provides a smooth, creamy, and subtly sweet contrast to the almond cake. The white chocolate adds a luxurious melt-in-your-mouth texture. A touch of almond liqueur (such as Amaretto) can be added to the whipped cream for an extra layer of nutty flavor (optional, and clearly indicated as such).
